Welcome!
Some of you may know me from my book blog, I'll Be Reading. Others, well.. you don't know me yet :) 

So, Hello! I am Marisa, nice to meet you!

I have 10 years of Graphic Design and Photography under my belt, and have decided to take the plunge into Cover Design. It is something I have been wanting to start up for an extremely long time, and decided to quit stalling over it, and just go for it. 

Photography has been a love of mine since I was young. I double majored in Photography and Graphic Design in college, and came out with a Bachelors in Fine Arts with a concentration in both fields. I have photographed everything from weddings, to newborns, to landscape, to models. I worked in the Graphic Design 9-5 world up until two years ago, when I decided to go out on my own and freelance my little heart out, and I've been loving it since. It may sound cliche, but I feel like I haven't "worked" a day for the last two years. 

Art, is my passion.

I cannot think of a better way to combine my love of reading, photography skills, and artistic design eye, than book cover design.
